<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device enabling a person having a portable phone with an infrared communication function to easily obtain the associated information which is related to a display image and should be offered to a person looking at the image. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a storage means 20 for storing the associated information which is related to a display image and should be offered to a person looking at the image, an infrared interface 17 for performing an infrared communication with the portable phone with the infrared communication function and a means for performing infrared transmission of the associated information stored in the storage means via the infrared interface when receiving an associated information demand command from the portable phone with the infrared communication function via the infrared interface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
