<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical authenticity judgement structure which is high in forgery preventing effect and excellent in security property. <P>SOLUTION: This authenticity judgement structure 1 to be used for an authenticating medium, in which almost linear minute prisms 3 consisting of transparent materials with rectangular or trapezoidal cross-sections are arranged in parallel with parallel space parts 6 between on the surface of a base material 2. In the authenticity judgement structure 1, the bottom surface of the rectangular or trapezoidal minute prism 3 is made in contact with the surface of the base material, and a light reflecting layer or a light scattering layer is formed on either one or two of upper surfaces or side surfaces of the minute prism facing the space or both of those surfaces, or a colored layer or characters and patterns are recorded thereon.
