<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser resonator wherein a wavelength conversion element is appropriately arranged at the laser beam focal position, and to provide a method for assembling the same. <P>SOLUTION: In this laser resonator 7 wherein an image transfer optical system is added to the basic optical system, a reference point is set at the focal position of a laser beam emitted by a laser medium 4, the image transfer optical system has an image transfer lens means and determines an image transfer projective point by using a plurality of lenses 10, 11 having focal lengths f1, f2 as measured from the laser beam reference point, and a wavelength conversion element 6 is arranged at the image transfer projective point for varying the wavelength of the laser beam. In this way, the image transfer projective point to be the laser beam focal position is accurately determined for appropriately arranging the wavelength conversion element 6 at the laser beam focal position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
