PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating device equipped with image pick-up and display functions simultaneously. SOLUTION: The device comprises the following components on the same substrate, a pixel matrix 21 having an active element connected to a pixel electrode, a peripheral drive circuit 22 driving the pixel matrix 21, a light-receiving section 31 having a second active element connected to a photoelectric conversion device, a sensor section 30 having a light-receiving section drive circuit 32 driving the light-receiving section 31, a control circuit 40 controlling the peripheral drive circuit 22 and the light-receiving section drive circuit 32, and a lead terminal section 50.
