<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low reflection polarizing plate which reduces the occurrence of wrinkles, crimps and damage even when it is of a thin film and it is wide, whose yield is enhanced and which further prevents irregularities in a reflected image on a surface caused by fine waviness and the lowering of visibility caused by light leakage in frame shape. <P>SOLUTION: The low reflection polarizing plate holds a polarizer between two transparent support A and B, wherein the transparent support A is made of an antireflection film and the transparent support B is made of a cellulose ester film.The antireflection film has an actinic ray hardening resin layer and an antireflection layer on the cellulose ester film containing specified cellulose ester, at least two kinds of plasticizer other than phosphate plasticizer and an ultraviolet absorbent and manufactured by biaxial orientation. In the cellulose ester film, the specified cellulose ester is oriented so that a retardation value Ro may be within 20 to 320 nm or a retardation value Rt may be within 100 to 400 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
