<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a magnetic field based on a conductor current by eliminating the influence of the slight displacement of a conductor position and a noise magnetic field by a method for utilizing magnetic impedance effect for detecting the magnetic field, and to enable the conductor current to be measured precisely. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a circumferential magnetic field H based on the conductor current is detected for measuring the conductor current by a magnetic field sensor for detecting a magnetic field to be detected by linear output characteristics capable of discriminating polarities by using a magnetic impedance effect element. In the method, 2n magnetic impedance effect elements are provided on a circumference surrounding a conductor (e) so that the magnetic impedance effect elements are set to be n sets of pairs 1m, 1m' (n=1-n) with the center of the circumference as a symmetric center and are aligned to a direction, where they are aligned in a forward direction or a backward direction with the peripheral circuit magnetic field; the magnetic field detection signal of both the magnetic impedance effect elements in n of pairs is added; and the conductor current is measured, based on n addition output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
