<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint 7 for refrigerating cycle of excellent refrigerant sealability. <P>SOLUTION: The diameter of a forward end side of a fitting part of a backup ring 10 of a fitting projecting part 81 is set to be equal to or less than the inside diameter of the backup ring 10, and an endless type backup ring 10 without any cut in the circumferential direction is used for the backup ring 10. Any bias cut 10a of the backup ring 10 can be omitted when fitting the backup ring 10 to the fitting projecting part 81, and the endless type backup ring 10 without any cut in the circumferential direction can be used. Since the backup ring 10 is also functioned as a seal member thereby, a pipe joint for refrigerating cycle is excellent in refrigerant sealability. Permeation of the refrigerant into the atmosphere is reduced, the required refrigerant filling amount can be reduced, and a receiver and an accumulator with the refrigerant storage function is miniaturized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
