<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load-shift prevention device alleviating the labor for loading/unloading a load loaded on a loading platform and enabling execution of loading work by one person without causing collapse of load configuration stacked and damage of the load during loading work, and a method for preventing the load shift of the load using the device. <P>SOLUTION: This load-shift prevention device prevents the load shift of a load loaded on a loading platform by winding the periphery of the load with a belt-like body. This belt-like body is a long belt body having the width of 25 cm or less, and a fixing device to be fixed on the base is provided on both of its tip ends.
