CONTROLLER FOR VIDEO GAME MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for the video game machines which enables a simple adaptation to complicated operations.

SOLUTION: The controller 1 for the video game machines which has a long-sized shape and enables the players to hold and operate it making the body work is provided with a linear sensor 41 which is installed near the end part on the side away from the players being held and detects the accelerated displacement of the linear operation of the body 11 by moving a light shielding member 411 mobile in the predetermined direction and a rotation sensor 42 which is installed near the end part on the side closer to the players being held and detects the rotational displacement of the rotary operation of the body 11 by turning a light shielding member 413 made rotatable axially in the longitudinal direction of the long-sized shape.
