摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a apparatus for measuring particle size distribution which uses a batch cell capable of stirring sample solutions, without using moving parts. SOLUTION: The particle size distribution measurement apparatus comprises: an incident optical system 20 including a light source 21; the batch cell 10 which stores the sample solution containing particles and has a measurement area S for irradiating the sample solution with a light as incident light, from the light source 21 and a generating secondary light; and a detection optical system 30 which detects the secondary light from the measurement area S. The batch cell 10 includes temperature difference generating means 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 which generate temperature difference between the sample solution in the vicinity of the bottom and the sample solutions in the vicinity of the upper portion.
