PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an original holding plate capable of covering an original up to an index board and surely holding down the original including the portions near the index board while preventing black striae. SOLUTION: The manufacturing of the original holding plate capable of surely holding down the original including the portions near the index board 22 is made possible even when a resin film composed of, for example, a hardly workable PET (polyethylene terephtharate) material is employed as the material of a white sheet 1 by previously forming a folding line consisting of a groove to an area which is a reference side on the rear surface of the white sheet 1, then bending the white sheet to form a level difference 5 which projects on the surface, thereby preventing the occurrence of distortion and the flawing of a white sheet surface during forming and fabricating of the level difference and facilitating the assurance of the flatness of the white sheet 1.
