BIODEGRADABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND SHEET MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new biodegradable resin composition having flame retardancy, and to provide a sheet material using the composition. SOLUTION: (1) The biodegradable resin composition contains an aliphatic polyester-based resin as an essential component and≥1 mass% ammonium polyphosphate having≥900 polymerization degree. (2) The aliphatic polyester-based resin is a polylactic acid-based resin in the biodegradable resin composition of (1). (3) The biodegradable sheet material is composed of the biodegradable resin composition of (1) or (2). (4) The biodegradable composite sheet material is obtained by laminating a layer comprising the biodegradable resin composition of (1) or (2) on a fabric or a nonwoven fabric comprising a biodegradable fiber.
