PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting metal fitting for a pillar member for fixing a bracket member to a pillar member comprising an H-shaped steel, or the like; and to provide a vine plant growing device structured by using the mounting metal fitting. SOLUTION: The mounting metal fitting for the pillar member 1 has cross sectional T-shaped parts where wing parts 7 are formed at both of the right and left sides of its core part, and is used for fixing the bracket member 20 to the pillar member. The fitting comprises a pair of holding fixtures 19 respectively attached to wing parts of both the right and left sides, the bracket members 20 each fixed to the holding fixtures, a press fixing means 21 and a clamp fixing means 22. Each of the holding fixtures is structured as follows: the back wall of a groove-shaped part formed into a cross sectional groove shape so as to hold the wing part comes into contact with the back surface of the wing part to overlap each other, and also the front wall of the groove-shaped part overlaps the right surface of the wing part via a space therebetween; a clamping wall projecting to the right surface side of the wing part from the front wall; and a pair of clamping walls of the holding fixture are disposed so as to be apart from each other.
