A computer system (Fig. 2) is described to record, process and analyze information concerning communications that pass through a telecommunications network managed by at least one computer. The computer system includes means adapted to receive from at least one controlling computer and to store information concerning the communications passed through the network (5), means able to process the stored information (4) and interface means (6, 7, 8), through which an operator conveys the information to be recorded and processed to the computer system and receives from the computer system, processed, the selected information, which can be analyzed by the operator. A method to implement such computer system is also described.
