In the present invention, there is disclosed a pharmaceutical powder cartridge (100) being intended for powder inhalers for holding a stock of medicament for a large number of doses of pharmaceutical powder, wherein the cartridge comprises a reservoir space (101) for holding a pharmaceutical powder and an integrated metering device which comprises at least one metering cavity (124) for holding a predetermined quantity of a pharmaceutical powder. Said integrated metering device comprises a metering slide (123), which can be moved at least out of a filling position into an emptying position approximately transversely with respect to the flow direction of the pharmaceutical powder. Said metering slide (123) is disposed below the reservoir space (101) for holding the pharmaceutical powder in order to enable flow of the pharmaceutical powder from said reservoir space (101) into the metering cavity (124) of the metering slide (123) due to the effect of gravity. |
