PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate transmission loss of coated optical fibers by providing a supporting guide placing the coated optical fibers and having a bar-shaped central part guiding them roughly horizontally to eliminate the damage of the coated optical fibers and to secure prescribed bending radiuses of them. SOLUTION: Coated optical fibers are placed on a coated optical fiber supporting guide 13 and the guide 13 is formed in a roughly U-shape consisting of a bar-shaped central part 13a by which the coated optical fibers are to be guided and bar-shaped or plate-shaped free end parts 13b prolongingly existing roughly perpendicularily with respect to the central part 13a from both ends of the central part 13a. Then, the coated optical fiber 17c" attached to a vertical panel 3 is hung on the central part 13a of the supporting guide 13 attached to the vertical panel 3 at roughly the same height as that of a connecting member 8. Thus, it is eliminated that the coated optical fiber 17c" went out from the connecting member 8 is hung down roughly vertically at the end part of the member 8 by the own gravity weight of the fiber and the fiber is roughly horizontally guided and, hereafter, it is placed on a tray. |
