<p>Electrode consists of a low C steel sheath contg a powdered filler of 15-21% ferro-chrome, 6-7% ferro molybdenum 3.5-4.5% ferro-vanadium 2.5 - 3.5% ferro-silicon 2-3% ferro manganese 4.5-6.5% sodium fluoro-silicate, 4-5% Cr and the remainder Fe. The electrode is used in mechanised flux-less, or submerged arc processes, rate of consumption being low compared with known Cr-Mo and Cr-Si welding rods.</p> |
