发明名称 Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines aus mehreren dicht zusammenhaengenden Einzelfaeden bestehenden Garns
摘要 1,189,874. Interlaced yarn. FIBER INDUSTRIES Inc. 6 July, 1967 [6 July, 1966], No. 31171/67. Headings D1D, D1F and D1W. A process for producing a compact cohesive yarn comprises feeding a twistless or substantially so bundle of filaments under tension through a zone in which it is subjected to two or more fluid streams directed tangentially to the bundle so that peripheral filaments are wrapped round the substantially undisturbed inner filaments in one direction of twist by one stream and in the opposite direction of twist by another stream, the treated bundle being withdrawn past a member against which it is pressed by the tension in the bundle. The bundle is preferably maintained under a tension of between 0.05 and 0.10 grams per denier, but tensions up to 0.65 grams per denier may be used. The yarn produced comprises a core of substantially parallel filaments held together by a surrounding network of filaments, which yarn when floated on water loses its cohesiveness by separation of the filaments.
