The power plant vehicle 5 comprises a frame 6, wheels 9, a driving cab 7 and an engine compartment 8 containing an internal combustion engine and a variableoutput hydraulic pump. The pump may be connected to all four wheelhub motors 4 or to only a selected pair. Hydraulic motors for driving the rear wheels 9 of the power plant vehicle 5 are provided for use only when the vehicle 5 is running alone. |
