<p>The probe comprises two concentric tubes linked at their lower ends to form a continuous inner and outer channel fed with liquid refrigerant, pref. N2 at a rate controlled to suit the application. The wall incoming from outgoing coolant is comprises for pref all its length of heat-conducting material permeable to the refrigerant to augment the thermal efficiency of the device. The vaporisation liquid coolant may serve a supplementary in line probe utilising gaseous coolant to realise the remainder of the coolant capacity.</p> |
