<p>Current starting device for a post for draining vagabond currents consists of a low threshold starting diode (5) mounted in series with several field effect transistors (FET) (9, 10, 11) rendered resistive by the voltage source (1) via diodes (6,7,8) when the potential of the anode (A) is greater than that of the cathode (K). When the difference of potential between the cathode and anode is sufficiently positive, the FET furthest from the starting diode blocked for the most part until it parts in cascade. At this moment, the potential of its grid is raised by the diode (14) and the transistor (10) commences to block the rest of the voltage. The process may repeat itself until all the transistor may have cascaded.</p> |
