PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for a teaching device for easily confirming operations concerning various information showing that keys have been depressed from the teaching device. SOLUTION: This method for performing simulation to a system where communication is performed between a pendant(teaching device) and a host device is provided to display editing parts (105, 106) for inputting and editing the host device side processing to a display, and to perform the processing corresponding to keys indicating communication contents transmitted from the pendant among processing edited by the editing parts.
