When the advance angle correction amount of a target spill angle from a reference spill angle exceeds a deterioration determination amountα(YES in SA9) with an actual fuel pressure matching a general target fuel pressure (YES in SA8), it is predicted that the fuel supply shortage occurs in a high load area due to the deterioration of a pump, and a target supercharging pressure on a high load side is correctively reduced (SA10) in a supercharging pressure control map to compensate for the shortage of fuel.
