PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protection device for a submerged pump capable of preventing wire severance accident by calling attention of a wrong operator who moves the pump by pulling cable and preventing cable disconnection accident by absorption of excessive tension of the cable or the like at time of fall of the pump due to coming off a hanger, a damage or the like under a condition that the pump is hung. SOLUTION: In the submerged pump 6, a leg body 3 of a cable clip 1 is press-fitted in an engagement hole 7 of a cable clip holder 5 under a condition that the cable clip 1 pinching and fixing a cable 10 led out from an upper surface thereof and the cable clip holder 5 provided on an upper surface of the submerged pump 6 are connected by an elastic contraction body 9.
