PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative column installed at a vestibule of a construction such as a building or a house, decorated on the surface, formed in various shapes and decorative patterns and hard to damage when transported to a building site. SOLUTION: This decorative column comprises a core member 1, projected corner decorative members A formed of metal plates and formed with fitting bent parts 3, 3 on both sides in the width direction of projected corner main plates 2, and side face decorative members B formed of metal plates and formed with fitted bent parts 5, 5 on both sides in the width direction of side face main plates 4. In the decorative column, the projected corner decorative members A, A are stuck at equal spaces to the outer peripheral part of the core member 1, and the fitted bent parts 5, 5 of the side face decorative members B are fittingly stuck to the fitting bent parts 3, 3 between the projected corner decorative members A, A to cover the outer periphery of the core member 1 with the side face decorative members B and the projected corner decorative members A.
