[PROBLEMS] To confirm the presence of a solubilized human IL-18 receptor-alpha by a novel ELISA method and provide an assay kit and a medicinal composition containing the solubilized human IL-18 receptor-alpha as the active ingredient. [MENAS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A solubilized human interleukin-18 receptor-alpha, a method of assaying the solubilized human interleukin-18 receptor-alpha by an enzyme immunoassay method characterized by using the following antibody (A), a kit for assaying the solubilized human interleukin-18 receptor-alpha and a medicinal composition containing the solubilized human IL-18 receptor-alpha. (A) An anti-human interleukin-18 receptor-alpha monoclonal antibody capable of recognizing the same epitope as an H44 mouse anti-human interleukin-18 receptor-alpha monoclonal antibody.
