An apparatus and method are disclosed for enhancing the combined image of multiple attributes without compromising the image of either attribute (200) . The combined image of the multiple attributes is enhanced for analyzing a predetermined property revealed by the attributes. The combined image can be interactively manipulated to display each attribute relative to an imaginary light source or highlighted using a specular component (212-222).
