<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the aerodynamic characteristic is degraded by consciously changing the size of recirculating vortexes into an unstable condition, though air volume reduction, noise level increase and intermittent abnormal sound caused by a side wall of an indoor unit can be suppressed by changing the distance between a stabilizer and a cross-flow fan. <P>SOLUTION: When the space distance S between a cross-flow fan 5 and a stabilizer 7 is continuously or intermittently reduced from the center in the axial direction of the cross-flow fan 5 to both ends, the thickness same as the change in S from the center portion is increased from a tip part of the stabilizer 7 to a tongue part thereof. Further, the thickness is similarly increased even at a tip 7a of the stabilizer, the height of the stabilizer 7 is also changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
