DEVELOPER CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer conveying device which scrapes toner in a wide range within a casing of the device. SOLUTION: The developer conveying device has the casing 81 storing developer, and a screw conveyor 84 for conveying developer within the casing. The developer conveying device is provided with an auxiliary conveying means which comprises: a support part 85a which is almost parallel to the screw conveyor; a plurality of elastic swinging strips 85b which are extended from the support part towards the screw conveyor and are swung by the thread of the screw conveyor while following the rotation of the screw conveyor; and stir flaps 85c extended from the leading ends of the respective elastic swinging strips in a direction to cross the elastic swinging strips. Upon the rotation of the screw conveyor, each elastic swinging strip is swung by the thread. Accompanying the swing, each of the stir flaps extended from the respective elastic swinging strips is swung in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the swing of the elastic swinging strip.
