PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a time for starting a torque phase by using the power-on up-shift of an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: An ECT_ECU 1020 comprises a step (S110) of storing the output shaft rotating speed NOUT of the automatic transmission in a memory in a time series since starting the power-on up-shaft (YES in S100) until finishing the torque phase (YES in S120), a step (S130) using wavelet transform for frequency analysis of the stored output shaft rotating speed NOUT upon finishing the torque phase (YES in S120), a step (S140) for calculating a time having a peak in a specified frequency band as the time for starting the torque phase in accordance with the result of the wavelet transform, and a step (S150) for storing the calculated time for starting the torque in the memory.
