PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic package that prevents air tightness from being lost even if a tantalum electrolytic capacitor is exposed to a high temperature and can reduce transmission loss in a signal, and to provide the tantalum electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The ceramic package comprises a ceramic substrate 1 in which a step 1c-A is formed between one internal side of a recess 1a at an upper-surface center section and a bottom surface, and first and second conductor layers 4a, 4b are mutually independently provided on the lower surface; a first metallized layer 2a formed at a notch 2 formed in the step 1c-A; and first and second side conductors 4c, 4d formed on the inner surface of a groove formed on the side of the ceramic substrate 1 in upper and lower directions. Additionally, in the ceramic package, the first metallized layer 2a is electrically connected to first internal wiring 3a, the first side conductor 4c, and the first conductor layer 4a, and the second metallized layer 1b is electrically connected to second internal wiring 3b, the second side conductor 4d, and the second conductor layer 4b.
