COMPOSITION CONTAINING METAL NANO ROD AND METALLIC OXIDE POWDER, AND APPLICATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of having a superior absorption effect to a specified wavelength in a visual light/near infrared light region, and to provide a material that is formed by the composition and has various kinds of functions. SOLUTION: The composition contains a rod-like metal fine particle (the metal nano rod) of which the long axis is less than 400nm and an aspect ratio is larger than 1, and conductive metal oxide powder. Preferably in the composition, the conductive metal oxide powder is at least one kind selected from a group of a tin-doped indium oxide, an antimony-doped tin oxide, and an aluminum-doped zinc oxide and is fine powder of which the average primary grain size is 0.2μm or less.
