PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector in which the temperature rise of an element reflecting light emitted from a light source lamp and supplying the light to a projection lens is effectively suppressed without substantially increasing the number and the size of heat radiation fin parts when the the heat radiation fin parts are disposed on an inflow path of air to a fan. SOLUTION: In the projector, a heat radiation plate 20 is disposed integrally on the surface of a base stand part 20a at a prescribed distance and contains four heat radiation fin parts 20c formed so as to be extended in the substantially vertical direction to the surface of the base stand part 20a. Further, each of the four heat radiation fin parts 20c has five through-holes 20e which are extended in the direction along the inflow path of air to a temperature control fan 7 and a cooling fan 13 and allow air to pass therethrough. Furthermore, the outer surface of the heat radiation fin parts 20c has a shape of connecting five protruded parts 20f having protruded shapes reflecting the shape of the five through-holes 20e.
