PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an outdoor-used insulator which is excellent in weather resistance, water repellency, water permeation resistance, breakdown voltage, and tracking resistance and of which the molding cycle is short; and an outdoor-use insulator. SOLUTION: The composition for an outdoor-used insulator is composed of (A) an ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene random copolymer rubber, (B) an SiH-group-containing compound having at least two SiH groups per molecule and a structure represented by (-Si-O-)<SB>m</SB>(wherein m is an integer of 3 or larger) in the molecule, and (C) a catalyst.
