<p>Treatment of waste gas containing sulfur and nitrogen oxides, dust and oxygen with a reducing agent at 200-500[deg]C in a reactor containing solid catalyst with ducts giving an open area of 50%, which have a hydraulic diameter of over 2 mm, is carried out: (a) in the presence and/or with addition of free calcium, magnesium, sodium and/or potassium oxide, carbonate and/or hydroxide; and (b) under specified gas flow conditions. Treatment of waste gas containing sulfur and nitrogen oxides, dust and oxygen with a reducing agent at 200-500[deg]C in a reactor containing solid catalyst with ducts giving an open area of 50%, which have a hydraulic diameter of over 2 mm, is carried out: (a) in the presence and/or with addition of free calcium, magnesium, sodium and/or potassium oxide, carbonate and/or hydroxide; and (b) under gas flow conditions in the free reaction zone corresponding to a Froude number in the region: 1 = 3/4 . u2>/g.dk . rho g/rho k - rho g =100, with: u2>/g.dk = Fr2> Independent claims are also included for equipment used for treating waste gas from: (a) a cement works; and (b) a power station.</p> |
