摘要 FIELD: petrochemistry, food, light, chemical and other industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device are used for heating materials and parts using microwave energy in drying, polymerization, and curing processes. Heat treatment of material includes its alternate drawing in waveguide sections through narrow longitudinal slits and passage of superhigh-frequency electromagnetic waves through waveguide sections; in the process superhigh-frequency electromagnetic waves are passed through respective waveguide sections in forward and backward directions simultaneously at equal power; in backward direction these waves reflected from respective polarization transformers mounted at ends of respective waveguide sections are passed through material under treatment at changed plane of polarization. Device implementing proposed method has microwave oscillator with waveguide-to-coaxial adapter installed at its output; waveguide sections provided with narrow longitudinal slits for conveying material under treatment; penetrating microwave energy traps installed at slits; filters mounted at inlet of first slit and at outlet of last one; screen inserted between waveguide sections; ferrite valves installed at inputs of first and last waveguide sections; power splitter; waveguide adapters; polarization transformers; additional ferrite valves installed at input of waveguide sections, from second to last ones; these waveguide sections are interconnected in parallel, their inputs are connected through ferrite valves and waveguide adapters to respective outputs of power splitter whose input is connected to output of coaxial-to-waveguide adapter; outputs of waveguide sections are connected to respective polarization transformers. ^ EFFECT: enhanced uniformity of crosswise and step-by-step heating of material. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
