The apparatus has a dust collecting container (130) to collect dust separated by a centrifugal force of a vortex current in a cyclone body. A double impeller grill assembly (150) prevents the air from flowing back through an air outlet port. A fine dust collecting unit is disposed at a downstream portion of the assembly in the cyclone body to collect fine dust which is not removed by the assembly. An independent claim is also included for a vacuum cleaner having a cyclone-type dust collecting apparatus.
