FIELD: processes for controlling metal cutting machine tools, namely number program control machine tools. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming control signals, feeding them to step motors of machine tool. In order to enhance automation degree and quality of worked parts, control signals are generated on base of data of interaction between two-dimensional images of objects taking part in cutting process and formed on screen of computer monitor when contour of blank image is changed for imparting to it shape of ready part. ^ EFFECT: enhanced automation degree, improved quality of parts. |
