<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor capable of reliably suppressing reductions in sensor sensitivity due to the adhesion of proteins in a biological fluid to an electrode system and therefore accurately analyzing and determining specific components in the biological fluid regardless of the concentration of the proteins. <P>SOLUTION: By providing a layer 10 containing apatite superior in an adsorbability to proteins etc. for the surface of a reaction layer 9 of the biosensor, proteins in the biological fluid are removed. Apatite having calcium ions and phosphate ions as principal components is suitable, and Ca<SB>10</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>6</SB>(OH)<SB>2</SB>is optimal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
