<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having an angle sensor that accurately detects the angle of rotation of the output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The output shaft 6 is rotated by a DC motor 2. A slit plate 12 is fixed to the output shaft 6, and the base plate 17, through which the output shaft 6 is passed, is arranged so as to face the slit plate 12. An LED holder plate 19 is mounted on the base plate 17 via arms 18. An LED 21 is mounted on the LED holder plate 19, and a light-receiving element 22 is mounted on the base plate 17. The LED 21 faces the light-receiving element 22.
