PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly control a radio terminal equipped with an information collecting device. SOLUTION: A radio terminal control system (100) includes an information processing apparatus (10) capable of conducting wireless communications according to a predetermined communication protocol, and a radio terminal (20) equipped with an information collecting device for conducting wireless communications with the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus comprises a program selecting unit for selecting a control program including commands to operate the information collecting device and indicating a series of control procedures for the radio terminal, and a command extracting unit for extracting commands to be supplied to the radio terminal from the control program. The radio terminal comprises a translation unit for translating the commands from the information processing apparatus into command information interpretable to the radio terminal, an information acquiring unit for acquiring collection information collected by the information collecting device, and an information transmitting unit for transmitting the collection information to the information processing apparatus.
