PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of properly carrying out smear correction even when an object moves. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus is provided with an image signal storage means 10 for storing image signals outputted from a solid-state imaging element 2 by at least one field period; smear component calculation means 12, 14, 16, 18 for integrating image signals from light receiving elements belonging to vertical columns among the image signals stored in the image signal storage means 10 for the number of the vertical columns and multiplying each of the integrated values by a preset smear coefficient to calculate each of smear correction values; and a subtractor circuit 22 for subtracting the smear correction values calculated by the smear component calculation means 12, 14, 16, 18 from the image signals coming from the solid-state imaging element 2.
