PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system that automatically sets a telephone call from a slave unit to a master unit to received voice volume which is already adjusted according to respective slave units when there is the call from the slave unit to the master unit thereafter once the received voice volume of the master unit is adjusted according to the loudness of a caller's voice when there is a call from the same slave unit to the master unit. SOLUTION: This nurse call system is equipped with a received voice volume adjustment part 34 which accepts inputs of an adjustment value for adjusting the received voice volume of the master unit 10 for a telephone call made by a slave unit 12, a received voice volume storage part 32 which stores the adjustment value inputted from the received voice volume adjustment part 34 by relating it to the corresponding slave unit 12, and an electronic volume adjustment part 26 which adjusts the received voice volume of the master unit 10 according to the adjustment value stored in the received voice volume storage part 32 while related to the slave unit 12 at a request to make a telephone call from the slave unit 12.
