METADATA INPUT METHOD AND EDITING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes much time and trouble to read cuts and scenes out of time records in editing operation for recorded media and a system for inputting metadata during the editing operation which is different from before needs to be employed to input the metadata attached to image data. SOLUTION: The recording is performed through a camera which implements a method of detecting characters from recorded video and recording recognized character data as metadata to media by attachment to the image data, and when they are edited, automatic rearrangement is performed according to a cut list by using the metadata attached to the image data. A certain condition is given and image data to which metadata having a character string meeting the condition are attached are extracted to facilitate the retrieval of an image.
