CHIPPING EQUIPMENT FOR BOTTOM OF TUNNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently chip the whole bottom surface of an aging tunnel by a predetermined thickness through the use of simple equipment in the repair of a bottom of the aged tunnel. SOLUTION: Horizontal rails 2 and 2 are fixed to both side wall surfaces of the tunnel T; both side ends of a horizontal pedestal 1 are supported on the horizontal rails 2 and 2 in such a manner as to be made movable by a roller 1a; a base 3 is supported in a suspended state below the horizontal pedestal 1 via jacks 4a and 4a which are mounted on both sides of the horizontal pedestal 1; a guide rail 3a parallel to the width direction of the bottom surface of the tunnel is provided on the undersurface of the base 3; a chipping hammer 6 is mounted on the guide rail 3a in such a manner as to freely reciprocate in the width direction of the tunnel; and the bottom of the tunnel is chipped by a certain thickness in the width and length directions in a state wherein a bit of the chipping hammer 6 abuts on the bottom surface of the tunnel.
