PLASTIC ADDITIVE AND PLASTIC

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plastic additive having hydrogen chloride scavenging property and antimicrobial property and a plastic having hydrogen chloride scavenging property and antimicrobial property. SOLUTION: The plastic additive is constituted of fine particle obtained by calcining and slaking of dolomite exhibiting two endothermic peaks in a differential thermal analysis. The fine particle comprises calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, magnesium oxide, calcium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide as main chemical components and contains an ignition loss component of 10-40 wt.% of fine particle weight. The plastic is equipped with hydrogen chloride scavenging property and antimicrobial property by adding the plastic additive to a plastic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
