PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device capable of effectively securing the bearing rigidity of a magnetic bearing at motor frequencies from a low frequency to a high frequency. SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing device is provided with a control device 19 to regulate the gain of floatation control to a rotary shaft 104. The control device 19 is provided with a displacement sensor 207a to detect a flotation position of the rotary shaft 104, a driver 17 to supply excitation current to an electromagnet 207b, a phase compensator 16 to regulate excitation current to the electromagnet 207b based on a signal from the displacement sensor 207a for flotation control, a band pass filter 22 to which an output signal from the phase compensator 16 is inputted, an amplifier 23 to amplify an output signal of the band pass filter 22, and an adder 25 to add the output signal from the amplifier 23 to the output signal from the phase compensator 16.
