The pretensioned cartridge syringe (7) has an energy accumulator in the form of a spring (4), and can be controlled untensioned. A pressure plate (12) is fitted on the end of the spring to transmit force onto the contents (6) of the cartridge. When using a spring as the energy accumulator it can be in cylindrical or conical form.
