FIELD: transport engineering: passenger carriers. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically-operated door units of passenger carriers. Proposed door unit contains left-hand and right-hand leaves with upper and lower levers, portal with supports on which high-torque electric motors with local device are installed. Local device is electrically coupled with high-torque electric motors. Outlet shaft of each electric motor is connected with turnable links through bushing with gasket made on caprolone. Upper and lower levers of links are rigidly connected with door leaves provided with stops installed for displacement in guide. ^ EFFECT: provision of safety when passengers get in and out of carrier owing to separate independent opening of door leaves. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
