<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell for reducing a cost and outputting high power generation as well as improving vulnerability. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell comprises a substrate 1; an electrolyte 3 disposed on one face of the substrate 1; and at least one electrode body composed of a fuel electrode 5 and an air electrode 7 disposed with a prescribed interval on the same face as the electrolyte 3. According to this structure, the electrolyte 3 can be thin filmed to an extent not to deteriorate the cell performance and reduced in manufacturing cost. At this time, since the electrolyte 3 is supported on the substrate 1, the fuel cell can maintain high durability against vibration and a thermal cycle even if the electrolyte 3 is thin filmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
